At SMILE Mass, we believe our supporters deserve to know how their contributions are used and we outline our commitment to financial transparency below. We are committed to transparency and accountability in all aspects of our work. As a registered 501(c)(3) charity since 2010, we operate with formally established articles of incorporation and bylaws, and we consistently uphold the highest standards of nonprofit governance. Beginning in 2025, our financial statements will also undergo an independent audit by a certified public accounting firm, further reinforcing our commitment to openness and fiscal responsibility.
We also openly share key financial ratios that demonstrate how effectively and efficiently our nonprofit operates. Our 2024 metrics demonstrate strong stewardship and mission-focused spending:
